Winnie the Pooh Day

Winnie the Pooh Day is celebrated annually on January 18th. This day is celebrated to commemorate A. Milne’s Birthday, which was January 18th, 1882. Milne’s stories have been translated into over 50 languages and are considered classic children’s stories today. Milne’s legacy may not be quite as literary as he wanted. But even now, 60 years after his death, the boy and his bear are still playing on the pages, and in the imaginations, of thousands of children worldwide.
